Depth The Clinic is an aesthetics and wellness clinic offering advanced skin, beauty, and wellbeing treatments designed to enhance natural beauty and support overall confidence.
We partnered with Depth The Clinic to design and build a completely new website that better reflects their premium services and brand. The project included implementing an integrated online booking system to streamline appointment scheduling and improve the client journey. Alongside the website, we also created a set of custom social media templates to help the clinic maintain a consistent and professional presence across their digital platforms while promoting treatments and offers.

01 — THE STARTING POINT
A premium service with a zero-infrastructure problem
This project was unusual in that the primary challenge was not redesigning an existing experience — it was creating one from scratch. Depth The Clinic was operating entirely on informal digital channels, which created a compound set of problems that were holding the business back.

No website
Without a website, the clinic had no searchable presence, no credibility anchor, and no way for new clients to discover or evaluate their services independently.

Informal booking process
Bookings via Facebook created friction, introduced errors, and communicated a level of professionalism that didn't match the quality of the treatments themselves.

Inconsistent visual identity
The existing logo felt generic and didn't communicate the clinic's premium positioning. Social content was inconsistent in style, quality, and tone.

Limited ability to scale
Without digital infrastructure, every new client required manual effort. The clinic had no automated systems to handle enquiries, bookings, or follow-up at scale.

A complete clinic website showcasing all treatments, services, and products — designed to the premium standard the brand demands.

Integrated booking system
The original site lacked evocative imagery or video to communicate the human impact of the work. Dry text alone couldn't carry the emotional weight needed to inspire action.

Logo redesign
A refined and modernised logo that retains the spirit of the original while introducing a cleaner, more minimal aesthetic suited to a premium clinic brand.

Instagram templates
A suite of branded content templates enabling the clinic to post professional, consistent social media content without needing a designer for every update.
01 — SOCIAL MEDIA CREATIVE
A content system, not a one-off asset
We designed the Instagram templates with the clinic's operational reality in mind. A small team, limited design time, a need to post regularly, and a brand standard that had to be maintained consistently. The templates solve all four constraints simultaneously.
The template library covers treatment promotions, client result showcases, skincare education content, offer announcements, and testimonial posts. Each template shares the same grid, typography, and colour system — making the clinic's feed feel curated and consistent, even when posts are created by different team members on different days.
BEFORE
Generic visual language, inconsistent weight, and a style that blended in with rather than standing above competitors in the aesthetics sector.
AFTER
A cleaner, more minimal mark with considered spacing, refined typography, and a visual presence that communicates premium, clinical confidence.
The updated logo was then applied consistently across the website, social templates, and all other digital touch points creating the visual coherence that premium brands require.
01 — BRAND IDENTITY
Refining the logo for a premium market
The original logo had the right instincts — it communicated an aesthetic-facing identity but it lacked the refinement and precision required for a premium positioning. Our goal was not to reinvent the brand, but to evolve it: stripping away excess, tightening the geometry, and introducing a more considered typographic choice.
03 — UX PROCESS
Two weeks, built with intention
DAYS 1–2
Discovery & brand direction
Stakeholder conversations to understand the clinic's vision, clientele, competitors, and aspirations. Brand direction established — premium, warm, modern-minimal — before any design work began.
DAYS 3–4
Logo refinement
Multiple directions explored, client review conducted, final refined mark agreed. Typography and spacing system established from the approved logo as the foundation for all subsequent design work.
DAYS 5–7
Website design
Homepage, service pages, about, and contact pages designed. Booking system integration mapped and configured. Content written collaboratively with the clinic team to ensure accuracy and brand voice.
DAYS 8–10
Instagram template design
Full template library designed in parallel with the website build, using the same design tokens. Templates exported in editable format for independent use by the clinic team.
DAYS 11–14
Build, test & launch
CMS build, mobile testing, booking system configuration, client review and revisions, final launch. Handover session covering website management, booking system admin, and template usage.

07 — WHAT I LEARNED
What building from zero taught us
Starting with zero infrastructure is actually liberating. Without legacy decisions to work around, every choice can be made in service of the ideal experience, the difficulty is that every choice also has to be made, which demands clear design principles from day one.
For service businesses, the booking journey is not a technical feature it is a brand experience. A premium clinic that routes bookings through WhatsApp is communicating something about its brand whether it intends to or not. Fixing the booking pathway was one of the highest-impact things we did.
Logo refinement is a delicate discipline. The goal is rarely to start from scratch it is to identify what is working, preserve it, and remove everything that isn't. This requires the ability to separate emotional attachment from objective visual assessment.
When building a content system for a client, the measure of success is not how good the templates look on day one — it is whether the client is still using them six months later. Ease of use and flexibility are more important than visual perfection in isolation.
